Took the train down from Mums to Harwich yesterday evening, to catch the overnight ferry to Hook of Holland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d semi-planned to cycle from Wrabness, where Grayson Perry’s “House for Essex”<\/a> is, but couldn’t get off the train there as the short platform meant the doors in the bike carriage didn’t open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat was late arriving, so there was a lot of waiting around before finally boarding. It was still being loaded when I went to bed, but we seem to have made up time overnight, as we’re due in at 8 as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
